Now I'll just take the time to give my old site the proper eulogy. Most of you have been to Porygonalphas World of Nintendo, and you'll see me refer to it throughout this site as "my old site". It was a great site built on a crappy server, Homestead. The idea sounded simply splendid, and in the beginning it was, any idiot could build a site with the slightest of ease, without any HTML programming, which I didn't know anything about at the time I started the site. I made the site on the spur of the moment, and I was so proud of what I made that I went and advertised everywhere I could. As of today, (2/28/00) the site has gotten 1540 hits. 500 of those were in the first couple of weeks. After that I lost my will to work on the site for a while, until a few months later when I did some updating, but the crowd was gone, and hardly anyone came to see the changes.
The site had a Nintendo theme, and was also filled with satirical humor. I loved my site, but alas, all good things come to an end. Homestead changed everything over the months. You are no longer able to upload JPG's and getting into your account to update takes damn near an hour. So I'm never updating my site again, it should be put out of it's misery. But I'm letting the site stay up, and I urge you to go check it out if you haven't already. Many of the reviews on this site were transfered from there, but that's the only thing that will be brought over, simply because writing a review takes a long time and I don't want to write all new reviews for games I've already reviewed.
